Luau Kalamaku

Luau Kalamaku

Experience an authentic Hawaiian luau just outside of Lihue on Kauai. Held at the historic Kilohana Plantation, Luau Kalamaku is on of Kauai’s best luaus. What makes it special is that it features the island’s largest cast of performers. Also, it offers the unique opportunity to enjoy a train ride through the historic plantation lands (this is an optional add-on, see details below).
Prior to the luau dinner, you can watch or participate in a variety of traditional arts and crafts, watch cultural presentations and the Hawaiian imu ceremony, which demonstrates how the ancient Hawaiians cooked their foods in earthen ovens. Then sit down to a delicious buffet dinner with a wide variety of tasty dishes.
The evening culminates with an exciting show that pays tribute to the ancient Polynesians who sailed across the South Pacific and ultimately arrived in Hawaii. Watch talented performers bring the history and beauty of Hawaii to life with music and dances.

Luau Package: The Luau Kalamaku Hawaiian luau package includes standard seating.

Gold Luau Package: Luau Kalamaku's exclusive Gold Package includes premium seating, so you can experience our theatrical show so close to the stage that you can feel the heat from our famous fire dancers!

Train ride: This is an optional add-on that takes place before the luau dinner. Enjoy a train ride through the 105 acres of the Kilohana Plantation. The train takes you by historic plantation homes and through a lowland forest and taro, pineapple and sugarcane fields. There will be a stop to fee the plantation’s herd of wild pigs, sheep and goats. You will also get to see their horses, cattle, clydesdales and donkeys.
